The current advice that we have for returning to activity including strength training after having a baby is not that great. As a medical community, we currently say that just wait 6 weeks and then go back to what you want. But…
How?
What does that look like?
Can I go back into a gym?
etc, etc
It leaves us with too many questions and a lot of fear of hurting ourselves and our bodies. And thats not good for our physical or mental health!
This is why Dimensions PT offers Pregnancy AND postpartum specific coaching and training, because just like anything else, it must be individualized in order to have the most success. We know how to how to do that for you. Whether it is your first child, or fifth, c-section or vaginal we have you covered!
Get back to your goals. Because we know that the healthier the momma- the healthier the kiddos!
