As passionate Hyrox competitors, my husband and I have traveled the globe to participate in this exciting and rapidly growing fitness racing sport. Now, we’re bringing the excitement to Boston by starting a free social community where fitness enthusiasts can meet up at local tracks for fun, Hyrox-inspired workouts.

Hyrox is perfect for individuals from various fitness backgrounds, including Running, Triathlon, CrossFit, and functional fitness.

No matter your fitness level, everyone is welcome to join us!

What is a Hyrox race?

Dimensions Physical Therapy became an official Hyrox affiliate gym in June 2024 and the run club is starting in July 2024. We will meet weekly at local public tracks in the Boston area. We will communicate when and where via our Slack community. We are planning for weekend mornings.

The workouts will be centered around “compromised running,” an important element of Hyrox training. There will be a mix of track runs and functional fitness movements like burpee broad jumps, sandbag lunges, wall balls, etc. We will adapt to the number of people and equipment availability.

All fitness levels are welcomed! The purpose of the Hyrox Run Club is to have fun and meet other like-minded people. We will help scale any workout for you and help coach you through any movement!

Nope! We will have some equipment and will adjust the workout as needed based on the number of people. If you happen to have Hyrox equipment (Sandbags, Kettlebells, etc.) and would like to bring them, the more the merrier! Just send us a message in Slack.

Bring whoever you’d like! They will also need to sign a waiver to partake.

  1. Submit the registration form above.
  2. Sign our waiver form which will be provided via email upon form submission.
  3. Join our Slack channel which will be provided in the same email as the waiver.

We recommend running shoes. While Hyrox includes functional fitness movements, half of the race consists of running. Crossfit shoes like Nike Metcons are not ideal. Popular shoes that we commonly see at races that are great for running as well as handling sled work, lunges, etc. include:
